Duties & Responsibilities

  • Configuration and troubleshooting of phone systems. Including Phones, Paging, Intercom, voicemail. ETC
  • Configuration and troubleshooting of Firewalls, network switches, routers.
  • Configuration and installation of wireless equipment including controller based, point-point, and standalone wireless.
  • Work with Advanced support and the managed WIFI team to assist with Plume/Airsonic issues.
  • Run networking cables and termination of cabling.
  • Perform computer repair internally and for customers such as virus/malware/spyware removal, hardware/screen replacements.
  • Analyze and resolve issues with existing networks for customers as well as internally.
  • Assist customers in configuring and scheduling automatic backup solution.
  • Advise customers on corrections or upgrade that are needed for security or ease of use.
  • Answer calls and user inquiries regarding computer software and hardware operations to resolve problems.
  • Assist Tech Support Reps with difficult calls regarding users computer software and hardware issues.
  • Assist with the maintenance of helpdesk workstation computers.
  • Provide training to employees as needed.
  • Analyze, research, and quote new client accounts on software or other support needs.
  • Enter commands and observe system functioning to verify correct operations and detect errors.
  • Maintain records of daily data communication transactions, problems and remedial action taken or installation activities for onsite services and in house technical assistance calls.
  • Read technical manuals, confer with users or conduct computer diagnostics to investigate or resolve problems or to provide technical assistance and support.
  • Refer major hardware or software problems or defective products to vendors or technicians for service.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Microsoft Certification, Valid Drivers License, A+ Certification, & Network + Certification

Education and/or Experience: Two-year college or university program certificate; or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Hours: M-F 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Pay: $14.00 per hr. starting out. Will consider education & experience. We promote from within
